Antiques & Shopping Tour–One Day

Centralia Factory Outlets – Exit 82 off I-5 takes you to 50 factory outlet stores, the Northwest’s original outlet shopping destination. 

Downtown Centralia – Take Harrison Avenue  into downtown to browse through the three antique malls and specialty stores and shops.  Several shops offer shipping for the visitor who may have come by train.  Be sure to stop to see the restored railroad depot.  Tour Guide

Downtown Chehalis – Back to I-5 and take exit 77 and follow the signs to Historic Downtown Chehalis, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, as is the Hillside and Pennsylvania residential districts.  Information about these areas is available at the Lewis County Historical Museum at the Chehalis Railroad Depot. 

Take Market Street south through the countryside, past a golf course, pastoral countryside and valleys.  Stop at Mary McCrank’s Restaurant, established in 1935, and enjoy a home-style lunch prepared in the tradition that Mary set so many years ago.

Continue on down Jackson Highway and stop at Country Collectibles, where you will find a huge assortment of iron yard art and garden accessories.  A few miles further will bring you into the city of Toledo, nestled on the Cowlitz River.  There you can browse through the Cowlitz River Antiques. From December through April watch the artists blow glass at the Mt. St. Helens Ash Glass Gallery.

From Toledo, take SR 505 into Winlock where you will discover Old Hatchery Antiques, a destination shopping experience featuring three floors of antiques and collectibles in a delightful old home setting that you will remember for a long time to come.
