The AMPHITHEATER at Napavine presents great seasons of outdoor concerts in Beautiful Southwest Washington.
The concentration of artists, affordable studio space and vintage architecture attracts many creative people to the region. As such, visitors can usually find live entertainment either in Chehalis or Centralia, theater productions at the Evergreen Playhouse or Centralia College's Corbet Theater, movie showings in historic theaters, and events of many kinds.
When driving up Tower Avenue one day, Mike McMenamin caught a brief glance of beveled glass at The Olympic Club. In two weeks he had purchased the Club and the adjacent hotel. The restaurant has a potbellied stove, pool tables and the original 1913 bar. The hotel and theater portion opened on Oct. 31, 2002, and has since become an anchor for the revitalization of this classic downtown.
Upcoming additions to the ongoing revitalization of the Centralia historic district will include a public market, the refurbishment of the 50-room Wilson Hotel, the restoration of the 1,000-seat Fox Theater, and the reclamation of other turn of the 20th century buildings.

Up the Creek Antiques, with high-end antique furnishings, is located in the 1911 Linders Building, which was the F.W. Woolworth's building for 80 plus years.
Artists are making their presence known and have organized a once a year tour to studios from Centralia to Winlock (or Toledo) called ARTrails. ARTrails takes place over two weekends in September and also includes a co-op gallery showing at the historic Centralia Train Depot.
Visit the historic downtown blocks of Chehalis with the Vintage Motorcycle Museum, Chehalis Theater, Market Street Bakery, and the old railroad depot, now the Lewis County Historical Museum. Shops in this three-block area have been family run from generation to generation and include shoe stores, clothing shops, wedding boutiques, and more. Restaurants include Mackinaw's and, just a few blocks away, The Shire Bar & Bistro -- once one of the original tasting rooms for the Olympia Brewing Company.
