Volcanoes

Lewis County, WA Visitor Info
Lewis County, WA Visitor Info
Three prominent volcanoes anchor the northeast, southeast and south boundaries of Lewis County. Mount Rainier. Mount St. Helens. Mt. Adams.

Their snowcapped peaks, alpine forests, wildflower meadows and contrasting rocky terrain provide endless scenic vistas and abundant wildlife. Mountain glaciers, which have carved out fertile river valleys, feed trout and salmon rich streams. Rushing rivers and the snowfall in the higher elevations make this a well-known spot for outdoor adventures.
